Douglas R. Benson of Universal Field Services, Inc. Announces Retirement After Successful Career in Management and Business Development
Tulsa, OK – After a distinguished career in management and business development, Douglas R. Benson of Universal Field Services, Inc. has announced his retirement. Benson’s career, built on a foundation of executive management and ownership roles, has made a lasting impact in the right of way industry, where he has been a key figure since joining Universal Field Services in 2008.
During his time with Universal, Doug’s leadership and expertise supported numerous public infrastructure projects in Oklahoma and throughout the nation. His experience with right of way acquisition processes and his unique, customer-focused approach brought a refreshing perspective to the right of way industry, reinforcing Universal’s commitment to service excellence.
Benson attended the University of Central Oklahoma and the University of Oklahoma in pursuit of a degree in petroleum land management. He’s a member of the International Right of Way Association and has served on the Right of Way Consultants Council. He’s also a member of the American Public Works Association.
