Senior Vice President Gulf Coast Region
Located in the Houston, Texas area, Len serves as Universal's Senior Vice President of the Gulf Coast Region. Len joined Universal in 1992 and has more than thirty-two (32) years of experience in the land business and as a corporate executive with responsibility for right of way and land acquisition.

As the staffing liaison between field operations and corporate clients, Len has worked on numerous energy projects throughout the United States.  

He began his career as a Landman and District Landman with Weaver Oil & Gas Corporation working the Appalachian and Rocky Mountain areas. He later served as Land Manager for Houston Oil & Minerals Corporation in Houston where he supervised a full time and contract land staff of over one hundred (100) personnel administering land budgets up to $20 million per year.

Len also served as Vice President / Land for Chappelle Exploration Company, Houston, Texas where his responsibilities included serving joint venture participants and managing corporate finance.

Len is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta.  He has achieved the Certified Professional Landman and SR/WA certifications and is a member of the International Right of Way Association, America Association of Petroleum Landmen and the Houston Association of Petroleum Landmen. He serves on the IRWA Pipeline Committee and is an active member in his church's youth ministry program.
