Director - Training and Development
Tamara Benson is responsible for internal professional development/training and for project management services for government projects in Oklahoma. She also performs quality assurance reviews on government projects throughout the United States, and has performed corporate project oversight in Virginia, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania where she was also responsible for overall project management, client relations and business development.

Tamara has been involved in the Right of Way Industry since joining Universal Field Services, Inc., in 1990. She has served in several capacities including Records/Database Manager, Litigation/Title Coordinator, Acquisition/Relocation Agent, Relocation Supervisor, Quality Assurance Supervisor and Project Manager.

Prior to joining Universal, Tamara was employed as an Analyst at MPSI and was responsible for performing feasibility studies on major market areas for the retail petroleum and convenience food industries. She also performed individual site location studies and was responsible for database setup, demographic review, quality assurance checks and volume projection analysis as well as client training and communications.

Tamara holds an Oklahoma Real Estate Salesperson License, the SR/WA designation and the R/W-RAC certification of the International Right of Way Association (IRWA). She was recently the Chairperson of the International Relocation Assistance Committee and continues to serve on that important committee. She is also an approved facilitator/instructor for the IRWA Relocation Assistance courses. Tamara has held all executive positions of IRWA Chapter 33 and is a member of the IRWA Leadership Development Advisory Council. She has developed and conducted professional training events for various skill and experience levels on key right of way topics for Universal staff and for other industry professionals. Tamara is an outstanding asset to Universal and to the right of way community.
